A transparent walkthrough of our candidate evaluation process

INTRO CHAT
The intro chat is a 15 minute Google Meet call with Gaia (our HR Manager). The goal is to:Get to know you;
Give you the opportunity to ask anything about the role or the company that you might be interested in and that you cannot find here (we suggest you to use this guide to make the most out of our first chat);
Discuss your motivation, ambitions, and expectations of the next challenge you onboard.
For some positions, you may be asked to complete a take-home exercise. We'll then discuss your work in detail during the technical interview.

TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
The technical interview is a 60 minute in-depth Google Meet talk with your future team. The goal is to engage in a discussion, touching three main aspects:Previous experience - We want to hear about your professional journey and the challenges you’ve overcome so far.
General knowledge and reasoning - This is an opportunity for us to assess your general knowledge for the position, but more importantly, to understand how you think. We encourage out-loud reasoning and discussion, as we’re more interested in your problem-solving process than a straight-up answer. If you’re applying for a sales role, for example, we’ll ask for your understanding of deep-tech sales and we want to hear you reason, make assumptions, and draw conclusions based on them, even without specific experience in the deep-tech industry.
Specific case study questions - usually, we’ll present a real problem that we’ve encountered, asking you to walk us through your approach to tackling it.
In this interview, if something is unclear or you feel you’re missing information, you can ask questions and reason with us, after all we are recruiting to join the team, so the dynamics of the discussion are important as well! As the last note, you should expect questions that are directly relevant to what we do, i.e., designing, production, and supplying spacecraft mechanisms.

BEHAVIORAL INTERVIEW
The final chat is a 30-60 minute interview with Marco (our CEO) and Gaia (our HR Manager), and it will take place in our office. The goal is to get to know each other and revisit your ambitions and the foreseen role in the company. -
WELCOME ON BOARD!
If you accept our offer, you will be onboarded by Olek (our COO), Gaia (our HR Manager) and your team lead. Your team lead will be your point of contact for matters related to your responsibilities. Olek and Gaia will be your point of contact for anything else. Nevertheless, don't be afraid of asking other people in the open space for help or advice - it is a very easy and efficient way of getting to know the team!
